Welcome to Pettneu & Schann am Arlberg

Pettneu, St. Anton's neighbour, lies at the foot of the peak known as the Hohe Riffler, from whose summit you can enjoy breathtaking views all the way to the Allgdu or the Eastern Alps of Switzerland. Whether to one of the numerous huts or one of the grand summits, the highest demands of all mountain lovers can be fulfilled. In Schnann, the wildly romantic Schnanner Klamm gorge rises in the northern part of town, a nature reserve which has recently been made accessible to hikers through the immense efforts of the mountain maintenance squad. On the trail through the dazzling rock walls, along the roaring stream, past waterfalls, you have the feeling that all of natures power suddenly is your own.

In winter, Pettneu and Schnann offer a short and direct connection to the Arlberg ski area with their free ski bus (transfer time: 8 - 12 minutes). Pettneu's ski area, with 15 km of descents in all grades of difficulty, is especially family friendly and integrated into the Arlberg Skipass.

In summer, there is a vast entertainment programme especially designed for children, so that even the very youngest love their vacations here, full of laughter and happiness. In Schnann, get to know one of the oldest Tyrolean handicrafts: bell-making.
