The >>ARLBERG CARD<< provides smooth access to all cableways and lifts. All lift- and cableway access areas are equipped with more comfortable turnstiles. The Arlberg Card is easy to take along and the chip is automatically read within a maximum distance of 50 cm from the electronic reading device. The ski passes are sold at the various hotels. The Arlberg Card is also a major contribution to the protection of nature and the environment. Throwaway tickets are a thing of the past. The Arlberg Card can be reloaded with data, thus enabling skiers to use the same card as often as desired.

Lift- and Snowmaking Facilities

  • More comfortable, quick and safe. The high quality standards of the entire skiing area were further enhanced this year. In order to maintain stable snow conditions additional snow making facilities were erected from Galzig to St. Christoph and from Gampen via Fang to the new stadium.
  •  New quadruple connectable 4 chairlift. On Fang, next to the new floodlighted slalom run for the World Championships, a new connectable quadruple chairlift was erected to provide even better access to the slopes. Also we build a new 8 person gondle-lift from the village-part Nasserein to the Gampen.
  • By the Öffnet einen externen Link in einem neuen Fensternew building of the Galzigbahn the Arlberg Cable Car Company is once again setting high standards  for the future. With the help of a "Ferris wheel" it manages to make an entryway at ground level possible for the guest, by the individual gondolas from above coming over the wheel to floor height and after getting in, moving up and over the wheel again. The Funitel contains 28 cubicles each for  24 persons, transporting 2,200 passengers per hour. Breathtaking technology is only one of the highlights of the new gondola which will be ready for  the winter 2006/2007. The architecture of the bottom station of the new Galzigbahn is as well fascinating. St. Anton's guests value the direct connection from St. Anton to  the Galzig, as a starting point for  skiing or simply to enjoy the sun, the mountain panorama and an excellent meal in Europes highest 2 haube ( awarded rated) restaurant at 2080m.
  • The Valfargehr 6 chairlift with weather protective hoods and heated seats, newly built in 2005. From the car park Alpe Rauz on the Arlbergstrasse fast and comfortable into the middle of the ski area. top station near the Ulmerhütte.

The 850 meter long winter climbing route on the Rendl is absolutely unique in Europe! It starts right at the mountain station of Riffelbahn II. It unfolds over a rocky and snow-firn route, which is completely secured with wire cables, to the Vorderen Rendlspitze (2646m). At the end of the route, there are several magnificent ski-touring descents.
