HOLIDAY CAN BE SO BEAUTIFUL

Slamming on the ski slope

When the Snow Volleyball European Tour makes a guest appearance in St. Anton am Arlberg, you'll feel a real beach vibe in the snow! Hundreds of spectators will cheer on the international volleyball elite in St. Anton for the sixth time from 10th to 12th April, as they duck, dive and slam in unusual terrain. The playing field at Rendl Beach (2,030 metres) is not sandy and warm as usual, but frosty - which does nothing to prevent the 32 women's and men's teams from achieving top performances in their battle for overall victory.

Football boots provide the necessary grip in the snow. Palm trees, whirlpools, DJs and cheerleaders also get fans in a beach mood. In addition to free admission to the matches, holidaymakers enjoy the best conditions for springtime skiing in St. Anton am Arlberg. The Austrian ski resort with 305 kilometres of slopes and 200 kilometres of off-piste skiing is open until 26th April 2020.

St. Anton am Arlberg is looking for the “King of the Snow”
The Snow Volleyball European Tour Finale will be kicked off in St. Anton am Arlberg with the Kids Day on Friday, 10th April 2020, when pros introduce the young ones to ducking and diving. From Saturday onwards, 16 women's and 16 men's teams will each compete for the "King of the Snow" title at 2,030 metres above sea level. Competing in three against three modus right next to the Rendl ski slopes, this is not just a battle of honour, but one for prize money to the tune of 3,000 euros. Admission to all games is free, and visitors can also look forward to a varied supporting programme.
