After arriving on the mountain with the Arlberger Bergbahnen, you find numerous well-signposted routes, marking the start to exciting hiking tours. Enjoy active hours hiking, breathe the alpine air and feel the positive impact it leaves on your body and mind. Along the way, approximately 30 alpine huts and mountain restaurants await you with a delicious selection of culinary delights.

Recommended hiking tours

Undertake a day trip, between two and five hours in length, or embark on a hiking tour of two or three days. The possibilities at the Arlberg region are sheer endless. Discover the well-hidden flower landscape at 2,000 metres above seal level and admire species not indigenous to the valleys. Follow the footsteps of the pioneers on the circular trail “Mutspuren-Rundwanderweg” at the Galzig or enjoy the gorgeous view over Flirsch and the Stanzertal valley, rewarding hikers on the “Kapellenrundwanderweg”. The theme trail “Schnann” invites you to dive into its history while the theme trail “Flirsch in alten Ansichten” takes you all the way to the Antonius chapel, built in the 1600s.

You do not necessarily have to explore the Alpine scenery completely on your own. Optionally, you can turn to an experienced mountain hiking guide, enabling you to very special insights into the mountain world. The mountain hiking school in St. Anton am Arlberg offers guided tours throughout the whole summer.
