Fishing in St. Anton am Arlberg

St. Anton has two separate partial fisheries, spreading out over a length of 20 kilometres. The Rosanna river that ends in the Verwall reservoir hereby serves as the centrepiece. The local fish stock includes river and rainbow trouts, whereas the Verwall area from the Konstanzer Hütte onwards also offers chars. Perfectly suitable for fly fishing, the second area of the fishing grounds is formed by the Kartellstausee reservoir lake in the Moostal valley. A day pass costs € 65.00 and includes the entire area, which is usually open for fishing from mid-June to late September.

Fishing in Flirsch

Also Flirsch offers the opportunity to fish the Rosanna river. Acquire a day pass for € 25.00 or from 4.30pm onwards an evening pass at Hotel Troschana and enjoy your fishing experience in Flirsch. Please take note that a day and evening pass entitle you to catch no more than four and three fish respectively.

Fishing in Pettneu and Schnann

The fishing grounds in Pettneu/Schnann am Arlberg include the Rosanna river, from “Giesi-Bach” onwards to the eastern limits of the fishery, and Schnann (including Malfontal valley). Acquire your pass at the restaurant Kirchplatz’l in Pettneu. A day pass costs € 28.00 and a half-day pass costs € 19.00. Please take note that spoon-bait fishing is forbidden here!
