In addition to all the skiing pleasure, the Arlberg region is also a hotspot for countless tobogganing enthusiasts flocking to this winter sports paradise every year. A total of five diverse toboggan runs guarantee ultimate snow excitement!

Toboggan run in St. Anton am Arlberg

The local mountain Gampen is home to one of the longest natural toboggan runs in St. Anton and therefore enjoys particular popularity among tobogganing enthusiasts. Take the cable car up to the mountain terminal at 1,800 metres above sea level. From there its all downhill – four kilometres all the way down to Nasserein! Flanked by snow barriers, this moderately challenging toboggan run is not only for advanced toboggan riders, but also appropriate for beginners and families seeking a fun, yet manageable ride. The toboggan run is open every day from noon to 4.15pm. Under floodlight, it is also open on Tuesdays and Thursday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. On these nights, the Gampen restaurant delights its guests with infectious live music. Halfway down the hill, the “Rodelalm” invites you to enjoy original and unique atmosphere.

Toboggan run in Pettneu

Fun and adventure are also inevitable at the nearby natural toboggan run Pettneu! The 2 kilometres long run is easily accessible by foot. Its rather low level of difficulty guarantees unrestricted fun for young and old. At night, from 8.00pm to 9pm, the toboggan run is well-lighted and enables you to enjoy an unforgettable ride below a star-lit sky.

Toboggan run in Flirsch

Centrally located at the Arlberg, also this one kilometre long toboggan run offers its users outstanding outdoor pleasure. Deploying additional lighting, the toboggan run in Flirsch allows for great excitement not only at day, but also at night!

Toboggan run in Strengen

If you prefer a rather short yet sweet run, the toboggan run in Schnann offers you a perfect alternative. Carve your way down the 200 metre long run and go for yet another ride. A whole lot of fun!

Toboggan rental at the Arlberg

You do not possess your own toboggan, but still want to leave your mark on the toboggan runs of the Arlberg? No problem at all! Just turn to one of the various rental points.
  • at all sports shops (for groups in Nasserein)
  • at the valley terminal of the Nassereinbahn from 7.15pm and
  • during the day at the Rodel-Alm
Return the toboggan at Robi’s Rodelstall at the end of the toboggan run. The rental fee is € 9.00 + a security deposit of € 20.00 (to be refunded after the orderly return of the toboggan).
